Sounding Board: GovernanceMassNonprofitNet is governed by a founding Board of Directors, which meets monthly to further develop the structure and services of our association.Ý Eight of these board members represent the eight subsectors; eight of them are regional representatives. In addition, six diverse, at-large board members represent alliances, networks, stakeholders, academia, philanthropy, the public sector, and organizations of all sizes.Ý The organization operates under the fiscal sponsorship of Third Sector New England. Elections: Regional Representatives to the Board of DirectorsAll MNN voting members (non-affiliates) are encouraged to vote for their regional representatives to the board of directors.Elections close May 16. If you have not received a ballot via email, please contact smercandetti@massnonprofitnet.org. There are eight seats (out of a total of 21 to 26) for regional representatives on the board, one for each of these regions: Berkshires, Cape Cod/Islands, Central, Greater Boston, Metrowest, Northeast, Pioneer Valley, and Southeast. For your guidance, we've attached a list of voting members, a board member job description and a list of the cities and towns in each region.
