A relatively new group is harnessing the collective strength of the state’s nonprofits – which employ thousands of workers and handle billions of dollars – to help shape public policy and share resources.
Statewide, nonprofits as an industry are an economic force, pumping about $67 billion a year into the economy, said David Magnani, executive director of the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network, during an editorial board meeting with the Daily News yesterday.
