The state’s first nonprofit association, Massachusetts Nonprofit Network, had a soft launch this month, creating the first umbrella organization for all the nonprofits statewide.

The organization, which plans an official announcement this spring, will provide services in capacity building, advocacy and public awareness for nonprofits of all sizes and across all sectors, including human services, arts and culture, education and health care.

A three-year effort to establish an association of Massachusetts nonprofits reaches fruition this week with the launch of the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network, a statewide association that brings together nonprofits of all sizes, operating in every area of the state and in every subsector.

MassNonprofitNet aims strengthen the sector statewide through advocacy, public awareness, and capacity-building.
