Job Description

Just-A-Start is a community development corporation dedicated to promoting equity by creating access to stable housing and building pathways to economic opportunity. We build and preserve affordable housing, offer education and workforce training, and provide housing resources and services to low-to-moderate-income people in Cambridge and nearby communities. 


As a member of the Resource Development team, the Communications Manager will lead long-term and project-based communications strategies, fundraising communications initiatives, media relations, and development, content, and design of print and electronic marketing materials.  
REQUIREMENTS:


·         Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years related experience or equivalent
·         Excellent written and verbal communications skills

·         Computer Skills: proficient with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Preference for skills in Salesforce, WordPress, Constant Contact, and Adobe Suite/design software.

·         Familiarity with social media: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
Starting salary $53,000 to 67,000. In addition to a competitive salary, JAS offers excellent benefits, including medical, dental, PTO, VTO, 13 paid holidays and 401k with 3% employer contribution
